There is an easy and wide road, and a narrow but difficult road. The reason it is difficult, is you have to trust in God for your every step. You cannot make your own way there. You cannot force your way, manipulate your way, push your way…you have to wait, to trust, take a step and get rid of all baggage.
Sometimes it seems too difficult to walk. Many times, you feel too weak to go on. That’s when you know that you aren’t in control at all. You lose yourself completely. You die to self altogether and hide your life in the Only One who is able to keep you from falling, to present you before His glorious presence!
Some think that there is a middle road. A road where you aren’t doing everything that the ones in the wide road are doing, but you can do a lot of things. You don’t have to be an open book, you can justify your actions, you can reason away your faults but not really take care of them. You don’t have to tell ALL the truth as long as there is a grain of truth. My friends, wake up!!! Jesus is returning soon!!!
Don’t be blinded and deaf but ask God to open your eyes and understanding to live in the light as He is in the light, for in Him there is no darkness at all! If you live your life this way, you will find yourself on the narrow road that few find, but it leads to eternal life. There is no middle road.
Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
